Here you can find anything and everything that can be done with or to a blackberry, any model. I found exact how-to instructions on how to "tether" my pearl to use as a modem. It worked, barely, and I just went and got the verizon 5gb plan and usb modem. Yes, now it's limited to 5gb, and the modem was free with 2 year contract. It works really well from what I have used it so far, most places it's just a step or 2 behind my high-speed here at home.
