Don't have a 1790. But you run as much down pressure as necessary to get consistent seed depth without overdoing it and getting sidewall smear. Set it for 80% of the field. Your wheel tracks might amount to less than 10% of the field. No clue.
How sharp are your blades?
What is the wear amount of your frogs between the true v's?
How much is your pinch contact on your true v's?
Do you plant like a bat of hell?

All those matter and affect your downforce equation....
