Subject: GPS Guided Steering on a budget

Saginaw Bay Area - Michigan
Goal:
Plant without markers with older 2wd JD 30 series tractor.
Use same setup for spraying, but no controllers on the spayer, just using for guidance/steer.

Possibly look to move this setup from tractor to tractor for tillage.

From my research, I will need RTK to be able to get reasonably accurate, repeatable, passes. Looking for feedback on what I'm planning to use, especially if I'm looking at the wrong equipment or missed something.

I believe the EZ Guide 500 with RTK unlock and an EZ Steer will cover the "tractor side" of the hardware.
What antenna do I need to work with the EZ Guide 500?

Will use laptop/tablet to feed RTK info to EZ Guide 500 from local CORS (MIDOT) network. If that fails, will fall back to a digifarm key/subscription to provide the correction data.

Will that cover everything? I plan to purchase used and do this on a budget (ideally under $3K for tractor side).

Future proofing/expansion is not a concern for this setup.
