SE Wisconsin | I was out scouting fields around Hustisford yesterday and pulled my penetrometer out about 2" down I hit a frost layer I couldn't penetrate. We had to pull the neighbor out by Ixonia yesterday morning and he sunk about 5" and that was it until he hit frost. Two days ago near Burlington I could only find about an inch of frost 3" down. It's still out there, but seems like more North than South with the snow we had. It's all over the board though. | |
