West Central Iowa | I am setting up an Ag Leader Insight with Autopilot and RTK unlocked 252. The Insight is Autopilot unlocked and I have been able to get RTK Fixed using the Iowa CORS network, but it has been a little hit or miss. Last evening I was playing with it and all I could get was RTK float even though I was receiving 7 to 9 satellites and had good sub 1 sec correction age and the CMR was at 100%.
Anyway, the bottom line is I am thinking I would like to upgrade to a 372 to get Glonass and Xfill, but local dealer is telling me it won't work with an Insight due to the fact that the 372 came out long after the Agleader/Trimble split and the firmware was never developed for it to work. Is this correct and if it is, is there a work around to this problem?
