| Fred Hoiberg is all about Fred Hoiberg...... If he takes the Neb. job and wins, he will be on to the NBA in 3 years. if he takes the Neb. job and loses, they will can him in 5 years. This is one lifetime ISU fan that hasn't missed him as a coach. He was a fine player for ISU, and I enjoyed watching the teams he played on those years, but it ground my gears how the ISU AD took a risky chance on hiring him, and within 2 years Fred was demanding a pay raise........ Also, I'll never forget the time there was a "meet the ISU coaches" event, at the Omaha zoo. It was a little chilly, weather wise, but the fans and the other ISU coaches didn't seem to mind, meanwhile Freddy disappeared to the bus, because it was too cold outside for him...... I am also wondering how his wife will like living in Lincoln, Nebraska? She didn't like the fishbowl that Ames, IA. turned out to be........ | |
