We are the executors of his estate and have reached an agreement with our cousins (the beneficiary's) to purchase their share from them. We haven't been able to find the abstracts yet, we are still looking, but what are our options if we don't find them? Can we get copies from our local courthouse? Or from the state? Any advice is appreciated, thank you. As pointed out, check with abstract companies around the area and local tittle closer's around the area. Here in Mn, it's not uncommon for local closers to keep the abstracts in their safety. Not sure why, but they do . . . . . .. |
