SC Wisconsin | I sat on the fence for a very long time and finally purchased the Mavic 2 Pro when it was released late last summer. I am glad I went this route over the zoom (never used the zoom) given the stability and ease of getting up close and personal with camera in the crop canopy. Zoom lens vs. getting closer to the subject has the same outcome.
The platform flies very well and the sensors make me look like I'm a better pilot than I am! I have been impressed how well it does in wind. The profile/aerodynamics of the Mavic are sleek relative to the Phantom platform. I don't think you would be disappointed with any of these, but waiting will be the biggest disappointment imho. | |
