For me ethonal blended fuels do not last long.
Also on my boat i prefer non ethanol fuel. But its hard to find ethanol free fuel. Efficentcy is the main reason i like ethanol free fuel in my boat. As i fish offshore i can only carry so much. Ethanol fuel reduces my miles per gallon by .25.
With ethanol free i get 1.85 miles to gallon. And with ethanol i get 1.6 mpg.
In 300 gallons thats 75 miles of lost range.
What is weird is over 5000rpm non ethanol fuel is even more efficient. I have 2 seperate fuel systems feeding seperate engines with fuel flow meters. I have test it promise the numbers dont lie.
