Nebraska | Lots of cows went down rivers around here, the water rose up over night and no one expected it until they woke up surrounded by water. Getting feed in and cattle in and out now for these feedlots will be a struggle, heck just getting the school buses around miles and miles to the bridges that are left just to get kids to school is a issue i never thought of until someone said it today.
heard platte county alone lost 57 bridges, and this affected dang near every county in the eastern 1/2 of nebraska, some places will never get rebuilt and some roads will have weeds growing on them for this year......just cant build this stuff over a couple months, in 2 years things will be ok again. maybe.
