Missouri

Are you putting the rings on concrete or pasture?

If your mud is as deep as mine has been and you're on pasture, DO NOT force them to fight over hay or ring space.

I've been dumping bales off the road over fences into rings the last few days because the pastures won't support a truck or tractor. In a matter of hours the cows are belly deep around the rings. Called in some loads of sawdust to dump over the fence in the mud as soon as we saw what was sure to claim a cow or two and it helped put a bottom in it and eliminate the ground suction quite a bit. Luckily today's wind and sun helped greatly, hope it's headed your way!
