How would KTA 19 cummins or 3416 cat or similar engines compare to modern day 600-700 hp engines in fuel use and general usage factors? Application would be stationary high hp. 200-500 hours per year usage. Will new engine be that much more efficient to cover the S50k purchase price difference?
