I know it may not fit your needs. But we just lift the 4th row up.on our 1790 20 inch planter. Then when we turn and come back we have a 40 inch tram for our sprayer to follow. One slight problem is we are always straddling our guess rows with the sprayer. So guess rows have to be good. We also have electric drive and are able to over populate the 2 rows along the 40 inch tram in order to help make up the missing row. We then spray and sidedress on 80 foot. We use y drops to apply N and undercover to apply fungicide. We have a front boom New Holland sprayer. It works well for us and gives us a little more room on some of our contour fields and steeper ground. Good luck
