| I may be prejudiced- have three Weber charcoal kettles, two Weber smokers and a Genesis gas grill. The gas one is the newest of the bunch, so I’m not really qualified to comment on its longevity.
However, one real advantage to the Weber stuff is that replacement parts are widely available and priced reasonably. And they support their older products very well. In fact, there’s a sizable internet community of people who collect old ones from auctions or yard sales or whatever to restore in the same manner that people do collector cars or tractors. | |
