I assume you’re trying to get rid of Kentucky bluegrass? We tried something similar, and I think we should have had another year of a smothering crop on it because our new grass stand has Kentucky bluegrass in it. Maybe go oats, then Sudan, then cereal rye, then Sudan again the year after.
