| Our trip to the south was initiated by an invitation from fellow Agtalker DRester from Louisiana. We got to enjoy a wonderful shrimp dinner they prepared and had a great time touring his farm and the entire area.
It is an interesting area with all of the trees and water. Darryl is a wealth of knowledge of the area from the history back to the founding of the country. We hydrocephalus through water on a small road that led toa restaurant on the banks of lake Pontchartrain. We saw trees of all kinds but no open farm fields. The only fields were pasture for beef cattle.
We finished the day with a great seafood dinner at one of the many seafood restaurants in the area. The chargrilled oysters were great.
Thanks again Darryl and Gail for a wonderful day.
