Central IL | Same thing happened to me with a heifer last week. Vet had me give her oxytocin. Worked within 20 minutes. I was amazed. My heifer wouldn't claim it either after pulling it so I took it home cause it couldn't stand at all. It was in single digit temps so I had that calf in my basement for three days till it was going good. Once I got her milk going and the calf could chase her around she claimed it fine. Good Luck! | |
