I put the gene to the test this year and this is the results I got.
My yearlings lambed from 1/15-2/8.
Comparing booroola gene ewes to non booroola gene ewes.
Booroola drop was 82 lambs out of 26 ewes -315% drop
Non booroola was 38 lambs out of 21 ewes for a 181% drop
That is quite the difference, what exactly is a booroola gene?
