I'm one of those who likes the time change thing. Where you live in a time zone affects which options you prefer. East or west determines if you would prefer dst or standard; farther north means bigger difference between summer and winter sunrise times. As someone else said, it helps those of us who are on schedule. DST means the sun isn't rising before 5am for me in the summer. Standard time means the sun rises just before 8am for me in the winter. Both are good things in my mind. |
