New Castle, PA | Lots to do southwest of Canton about 30 minutes. In Berlin you have the Mennonite Heritage Center , there is a very large cyclorama illustrating the development of the Amish and Mennonites. Near Millersburg, there is Guggisburg cheese . In charm you can go to Charm Harness and Keim lumber (I know, lumber yard ?? ) just go , you will be amazed. Walnut creek foods has a very large and unique store between Berlin and Sugarcreek . While near Sugarcreek, go see the world's largest coo-coo clock in downtown Sugarcreek. Go see a show at the Amish Country Theater near Berlin. Lehmans Hardware in Kidron is agood stop ( as long as you do not want anything electrical ). Near Orrville the J. M. Smucker Co. has a very nice company store Also lots of very good restaurant's in that area , especially in the Berlin- Sugarcreek area. Hope this gives you some good idea's. | |
