A bushel according to wikipedia is 8 gals. So a 55 gallon drum would hold 6.875 bu. Of popped popcorn. Which probably won't be enough to go around for this thread.
Peter Pipers peck of pickled peppers was 1/4 of a bu.
Oldtimers talked about seeding a bushel and a peck of spring wheat.
