Fontanelle, IA | I've used the "crap show and a half" analogy to describe the last 60 days of this 2019 winter. It's amazing that anything can eat enough to gain and stay warm.
I didn't think it could get worse.... until tomorrow's 1-1.5 inch rains hits and the rapid snow melt/flood/muck/mud develop over the next 10 days. I don't want anyone to feel sorry for me and the rest of us with cattle here in SW /Central Iowa as many "neighbor" states have been worse. I really hope that you and the guys around you to Carroll county make it through this okay. Too much snow... way too much snow to this point.
Wife says that I have worn out the "crap show and a half" analogy now. I agreed..... next 10 days will be the "double crap show with an exhausting finale"...…
