Subject: Frozen ears

NW MN
Today while feeding my May/June calves I noticed one had frosted ears. We did have -40f air temps during the vortex. Been a tough winter with constant negative temps for far too long, was -25f this morning. No other calves show this and I can’t remember seeing this heifer with “ears” before. Are these ears done for?
