Subject: RE: Cover crop seeder mounted onto vertical tillage implement

Jersey Shore, PA
We have a valmar mounted on a salford rts. As far as getting the cover established, it did a nice job. We probably put close to that amount on in some of our mixes and pulled 10+mph.

BUT....after a couple years it started to rip apart the Salford. It basically started ripping the tongue off the machine and had bad cracks/breaks throughout the stress points. We welded the Salford back up, but haven't used it will a full seeder since. The seeder is still on it, but we have gone back to drilling the covers.
