NC Kansas | We have co mingled 60 head the whole calving season if weather is decent. We have a 9 acre lot and about a 3-4 acre lot with old pole sheds in both. We set up a few of the sheds with creep gates so calves can get inside if needed. This year and other years we will split off the pairs eventually and give them the bigger pen, as the cows have calves they get kicked out to the bigger lot. Our lots drain very well the pairs can almost always find dry brome grass to lay in | |
