| We currently plant 16 harvest 12. Have done 16/8, 12/8, 12/6, 8/6. Even with RTK we will occassional run into an issue, usually around curves, but have learned to open up a field so so first two passes are on matched rows. That allows us room to move over if we have an issue on bulk rows. But that is very unusual. We were running mismatched planter / corn head back before we had auto steer and was rare to have an issue after we got the field opened up. | |
