We do it in the repair shop I work at all the time. Amazing how accurate you can be when 1. It's someone else on the line. And 2. You actually focus and look at what your hitting. Do number 2 and nothing short of bumping something on the swing will knock you off the mark.
OP once the pin is out next comes the bushing if it has one which can be even worse
