Have some questions about the trimble NAV's. I have bought a New Holland 4wd for spring that is intellisteer ready. I have a 252 receiver off of my combine and a EZ guide plus for a display so all I need is a Nav controller. A neighbor has a used 2002 Nav controller but I do not know if it will work. I have read that the black box is a Nav 1 and silver Box is a Nav 2, I did not ask what color his was just what year. Is there much difference between the 1 and 2 in performance or gyros or updates etc and is there an update program from trimble to convert a Nav1 to a Nav 2? I am new to the trimble stuff and have had trouble finding any documentation on there website.
