nw illinois | I have the field.connect harness and null modem Ken. The GS2 is communicating with the Rawson but the Rates are always 2-3 steps higher than the prescription calls for. The steps and Rx pops are in sync on the controllers so to speak but the GS2 sends a higher rate to the Rawson i.e. 30000 base pop, 2% step, Rx pop 29400, actual pop on Rawson and GS2 30600. On manual, the GS2 recieves the actual rate that the Rawson is applying.
To complicate matters in the fall of 2007 the system communicated properly(I field tested it after harvest). After the winter update to the GS2 and Apex I had these problems. Smells like software problem to me. When I printed the Rx maps the highest rate always showed 1,000,000 seeds per acre.
