Top middle of MO. land of green hills and grass | Put some on last year. Did a couple rows with both Mohawk, but left most with just one. Maybe a slight improvement in stand last spring, but hard to say. Did seem like closed trench better in notill.
I’d considered using the Shoop or Sloan discount to get a set of the poly ones to try, but decided to stick to the budget. They may get better as they wear smooth, but I noted sticky damp clay tended to stick in between the spikes on the cast wheels. They’ll probably wear longer, but looking back I may have been more satisfied with the others. |
