I have my own little theory on this degrading of wiper blades...its the heat, soaps, washer fluids that kill the rubber/composites... If you are not wiping down the blade when you wash/wax cars with a silicone product, (think NOT Armour All, but Silicone), life is just too short. The heat part I think is coming from the hood/cowl area...Cars run much hotter than ever. I am an Advance Freak, so I buy the ten dollar Trico Blades when they go on sale in the seven dollar range. I keep a bunch of the 18", 20" and the 22" on hand..fits most everything we have on the farm. Even the late model Deere tractors, I rarely get over a year out of them...use the Trico on them also. Hope this Helps, CF Edit>>Couldn't spell this am...:)
