Subject: Deere 8420 active seat firmness control questions???

West Central Iowa
We are working on an active seat in a JD8420 that came in not working at all, seat was way down and could not air it up, and it was setting an ASU35 error code. We found a nut off the cylinder and the cylinder was moving around and pushed the relay out of the harness. Also, the ride height switch was bad (ASU111 code) and we replaced it. The seat seems to work fine and sets no error codes, but we want to make sure all seat functions work like they should. We are not sure if the ride firmness control works correctly, it doesn't seem to make much difference. We are driving it around on the gravel streets by my shop and my tech only weighs 160 lbs, so maybe that makes a difference. So I guess my question is there any way to tell if the ride firmness control is working correctly?

Thanks
