Where do you preferred to buy your used tractor? dealer , farm auction or wholesale used dealer
where did you make the best buy or deal?
I prefer to buy at an auction, or from a jockey, but only if its un-touched. I can make it ugly with a rattle can alot cheaper than they can, and I wont anyways.
Probably the best buy lately is the 1900 dollar 7030 Allis that drove home and had like new 10 bolt duals and a degelman dozer that came with it.
Otherwise a 2-155 white I bought dead that I got unstuck, to find out the transmission was out, and did some research here on NAT and other places and found out that it was just junk on top of the transmission keeping the park pawl from retracting. clean it off, and all is well!
Basically down to a PTO seal, and resealing the engine manifolds, and I should be able to put it to work. |
