Columbia co. Wi | and usually starts right back up again (with key switch). It may run 10-12 hrs with no problems and then die twice in 5 min. Sometimes to restart and keep it running, I have to hold the key to the right so as not to engage the starter but in glow plug position and keep park brake on for 10-15 sec. or it will die again. I have replaced the electric fuel shutoff solenoid, key switch, seat safety switch and park brake switch with no improvement. In order to keep up with snow and ice removal I have removed fuel shutoff solenoid so it can't shut down and it has worked fine as jury rigged. It is definitley electrical and not fuel related.
I explained this to dealers service manager and he said he never heard of this. Then parts man reminded him they had 2 other customers with same problem and they never figured it out. Any ideas? TIA | |
