Also check to see if it has the hinge update for the belt slide where the head flexes. Need to loosen the belts for that unless he knows it’s been done.

Biggest thing is to make sure it hasn’t been hooked on anything and tweaked the center chassis. If you crawl underneath, just to the outer edge of the center canvas there is a square washer with a bolt on each side of the canvas (picture below). If one is pulled out, it’s most likely been hooked on something and will need the adapter removed and straightened back up or replaced. Can get spendy if you buy new and pay a dealer. Other than that as long as the belts, knives, guards, and skids are good they are very nice heads.

You didn’t say what size the head is, and what kind of trailer is it (2/4 wheel, homemade, etc).
