Subject: Progressive Farmer

Northeastern Pa.
First I'm not a progressive farmer and don't know how I get the magazine. I might be posting this in the wrong forum. Maybe it should be in crop talk but the equipment, winners used caught my interest more than the corn they grow. I would be willing to bet the guy from Ga. makes a bigger roi from his crops than most. He runs a 7000 planter and a 4420 combine. I like that. I wonder how many acres of corn he grows. On the magazine side of things I thought it was funny that on page 11 there was an article on increasing organic matter with Annie Dee no-tilling for 20 years. That's neat but right below the column is an ad for Lemken tillage tools saying you've never seen tillage efficiency like this. Maybe an ad with a no-till planter would have been more fitting. Then again I said I wasn't a Progressive Farmer.
