I start with 300 and that takes out all scratches. Than 500, 1000,2000, and finish with 3000. All with wet sanding will be like new when your done. Than put on a good coat of wax. It's a lot cheaper than the kits they sell that don't work. I've done several vehicles and all turned out well. The more time you spend the better they'll turn out.
