Headline says he sold for $2 million, but he didn't, he brought $1.51 million.  Having worked for a couple of the largest Angus operations in the U.S. back in the day, you never know what all went into that sale price. Sometimes there might be a back door deal for 100 head of heifers that also go into that sale price. Plus, most of these deals include a promise to come spend big dollars at your production sale to get the sale average up or set a high individual price.  Usually, a lot of the money never even exchanges hands completely.
