Interesting thought, but I think if I am changing anything, I will want to do at least two rows on right. They are pretty worn down.
We are pretty happy with the crops we are running through it. 15-40 bushel easy threshing wheat and 50-80 bushel corn. No modifications at all. Just run all forward bars.
I will also be changing at least half (probably all) the helicals too while we have it out.
Oh, and accelerator rolls too.....
It never ends!!!!
Just curious, does your machine have the tailings return to cylinder option, or is it like pretty much every rotory Gleaner in this part of the world and only return to the accelerator roles? |
R series Gleaner ever just change threshing side cylinder bars?
