S.E. Sask. | 2+2 NE - 2/10/2019 16:57 Yep, them pitchfork handles freeze your hands quick. I can't imagine the old days when they pitched hay for hours, it's said that sometimes they would make a fire to heat the handle. Thanks, enjoyed the farm tour. I am feeding oat hay also.
If I work hard enough to get the blood circulating good sometimes my hands will warm up. Feeding about half oat hay here. Only down side is the deer like it too and have been helping themselves to the bales in the yard.
