I just put some hi-lo-avg numbers into the spreadsheet we made using the USDA formulas and it showed which program would be the best fit for our operation.
I knew this arc/plc program could make or break an operation the way it was setup, so we took the time to figure it out.
And you got lucky. Counties have paid out drastically different. If I was in brown county rather than Spink we would have been paid way more, like to the tune of $3-400k. Since I'm south of that mythical line by 6 miles..."Too bad.". The guys in the county 3 miles east of me have been even worse off |
