Fontanelle, IA | my little swath in the infertile fringe got hammered with high winds about 4-5 days BEFORE we tasseled around July 4th. Pretty big swath from MO river angling East/SE.
It did get dry but not scorched earth dry. I fed less hay to my cows on pasture in 18 than 17...…
Can't wait to see the NASS county by county average yields for Iowa.. especially after all the 270 bu corn and 80-85 bu bean reports from the "cab" on the noon Big Show on AM 1040.
Would have taken 3 of my acres to get to 270...... | |
