Had to split STX 530Q Get a bunch of true/square oak blocks. Block/shim the front. On the rear same thing under the side sheets of the rear frame. Between the top block and the frame we put a piece of UMHW with a little oil to help slide. Get the keepers off the center pin. lube it with some penetrating oil and put some pressure on it with a 20 ton jack. Several times a day squirt it with some oil when you walk by it. Happened to be in the shop on the 3rd day, heard a bang and the pin had popped out. We wanted to replace the big self centering bearing, the grease/dirt seals and had to drill out the small broken off bolts that held the seal in place. We were able to un bolt all the hose holders to get enough clearance to slide it far apart enough to repair it; When it was time to slide it apart we flip flopped the hoses on 1 steering cylinder, started the tractor and used the steering cylinders to slide the machine apart and then back together. Good luck ! Please note: "For Professional Use Only" ;-)
