G'day - a bit of a problem. A 'not for profit' historical group to which I belong has historical archives, and a computer set up in an old Legal firm's building. [complete with a fireproof "Strongroom"!] The past treasurer has resigned in unusual circumstances, and will not inform those left behind of the groups WiFi password! Not too much of a problem as a group owned laptop, with the financials on it has been passed to me - the new treasurer. So if I take the 'treasurer' laptop into the building, it will log in to the WiFi OK. Problem is there is a lady who does considerable research, and wishes to WiFi the files off her laptop and onto the Historical group computer. She can do this by downloading her files onto a memory stick, then transferring the files off the stick onto the group computer. Could obviously be short circuited by accessing the WiFi, but we do not have the access log in ! Is there any way of accessing the password on the group's computer? |
