Establishing a board price by HTA or hedge account is fine what concerns me most about new crop sales is the change in CME delivery storage rates which will force spreads wider and make buying front end cash very difficult after the harvest is done. Basis will have to do most of the work to bring cash away from the carry.
Using current basis levels on Soybeans, my opinion is the market will be trading a 20 cent premium to those levels as we enter Dec 19.
