S IL | My Grandma's house has been vacant and the phone is disconnected. I don't live at the farm and the last couple years started staying in this house at night during busy times. Cell reception is average at best. I use my phone to conduct business and I really need an iPad or laptop to make that easier. My iPhone has a hotspot but I've never used it, but on an older phone years ago I tried the hotspot for a laptop one time and the speed/performance totally sucked.
Do others just rely on hotspots on a phone? Does it take a loooong time to navigate still? What are the other options? | |
