Linear regression is another technical indicator that has a good track record. Attached chart shows linear regression on soybean daily market prices since the harvest lows (Sep 2018). That chart suggests that the soybean rally may continue, irrespective of government intervention.
As is the case for any technical indicator, or group of technical indicators, past performance is no guarantee of future performance.
