southern MN | Mail is always less irritating than cold calls, that is for sure.
I can choose to look at on my time, not when I’m in the middle of something and the phone interrupts me.
Delivery of a message sure is a fine line, need to get attention but not insult people. Different folk have different levels. Hard to hit home runs with everyone.
Farmers especially are creatures of habit and loath to change. They have been through the grinder on new promises many times so their opinion is somewhat earned on that.
Finding the right tone has to be difficult.
In a capitalist society we all want to sell more widgets, that’s just how it is.
