North Central Indiana
San Antonio- Riverwalk, Alamo are the typical tourist attractions but certainly worth going to. The river walk has many great restaurants and a boat ride on the river is a must! Depending on the dates you are there, the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo is must too!

Just north of SA is New Braunfels / Greene that has a wonderful Old cotton gin on the river that is a really good restaurant with multiple deck levels over looking the river. As well, there is a great little winery there. Probably won't be warm enough to float the rivers but that's great fun when warm enough.

Fredricksburg is in the hill country just northwest of SA and is like a mini Napa with unique shops and 25+ wineries. There is also a fantastic museum there called The Museum of the Pacific War and of course many great places to eat. Several regular hotels there as well as bed and breakfast. The LBJ ranch is also a good place to visit.

North of Austin is Waco where the Magnolia Market is. The Texas Ranger Museum is there and is full of history.
