Clifton Kansas
I think you will much better of going with a cultivator guidance device also.

We have use a track tractor to plant. It is hard on the planter on even a slight turn. On sharper curves I put the 3-point in float (Challenger 755 with hyd. movable hitch) that made following curves work, but pass to pass didn't stay at the 30 inch gap.
We planted straight. Went over terraces and the planter moves a lot as you do this (a lot more that I thought it would). I think mainly because you receiver and tilt control is so far off the ground. Also the quick movements from the different slopes while going over the terrace. And the steering trying to correct is to slow for the fast movement. JUST A GUESS.

Some things I found out.
You will wear the sway blocks out also.
You must also cultivate the same direction as you planted or the tractor will move different causing the implement to move different from the planter.
Your tracks will cause rigging on the ends when you turn around ( the wider the track the better, the sides flex up on turns causing less ridging). So do you plant ends first or last?
